| For the present
project, the technique of business process benchmarking is
applied to review, analyse and document best practices in
business processes in 30 excellent local companies in Hong
Kong and (e.g., winners of Hong Kong Top Ten Brandnames Awards)
to adapt these best business processes to local SMEs in Hong
Kong. The knowledge created and the skill identified for the
best business processes for SME operations will be made available
on website, accessible by all SMEs in Hong Kong SAR. Active
learning facilitation instruments in the form of training
workshops and seminars would also be designed to supplement
web-based learning.
This project is co-organised by the Chinese Manufacturers'
Association of Hong Kong and the City University of Hong
Kong; implemented by the CMA - CityU Centre for Entrepreneurial
Development and funded by the SME Development Fund of the
Trade and Industry Department, HKSAR Government.
